Use this endotoxin calculator to compare a full-vial endotoxin report against a USP-style US limit. This endo calculator, also called an endo calc, starts with the EU reported for the vial, total vial mg, represented mg amount, and reference mass, then shows whether that represented EU load is below 50%, at least 50%, or above 100% of the calculated one-hour limit.

The calculator prorates the full-vial EU report by mg amount: represented EU = vial EU × amount mg ÷ vial mg. It uses the US USP-style default K value of 5 EU/kg/hour and treats the represented amount as the one-hour comparison amount.
